POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with specific expertise in Data Analytics. A Data PM will be responsible for designing products and features that are based on advanced data-driven insights and leverage the flow of data.

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have previous experience in end-to-end product management and data analytics, be able to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. The main responsibilities include gathering product requirements, prioritizing feature implementations and improving overall user experience, as well as overseeing implementation of analytical tools and building meaningful reports. Ultimately, this role will work with internal teams to build products that fill gaps in the market and increase customer satisfaction.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Collaborate with the head of product to develop comprehensive product strategies, roadmap and system design for new features and enhancements.
  • Deliver PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
  • Perform quality assurance controls on products
  • Propose data-driven features and enhancements
  • Work with the engineering department to deliver functional solutions
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Create support and training documents for internal and external users
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
  • 3+ years’ experience as a Product Manager, Data Scientist or similar role
  • Experience managing the entire product lifecycle
  • Experience managing the entire product lifecycle
  • Familiarity with market research, consumers’ behavior and marketing techniques
  • Hands-on experience with web technologies
  • Knowledge of project management tools, like Jira
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
  • Strong time management skills
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets
  • Good communication skills along with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Technical background us a plus
  • Previous experience in D2C, e-commerce or CRM products is a plus
  • Ideal candidate brings a combination of technical and business or marketing background, and have previously worked in a fast-paced, startup environment. We move quickly and wear multiple hats.
